| Our Business & Support Services team have a huge appetite for this sector because of the high growth rates driven by the trend to outsource; the generally cash generative businesses with low capex requirements; typically long term contracts (5 years plus) giving high visibility of earnings; the high private equity ratings providing the potential for private equity arbitrage if the business can build scale; and low consumer exposure thus avoiding cyclicality dependency. A huge variety of businesses fall under the Business & Support Services banner and our track record has been built on finding and backing great management teams in a sub-sector that might well be fragmented and ripe for consolidation. We divide the sector into six sub-sectors: Business services; Facilities management/local authority services; Human capital services; Health/care services; Logistics/distribution; and Inspection & testing.
