About Dan Hatcher

Dan joined Gresham on secondment from Ernst & Young in May 2007. He became a full member of the investment team in 2008 and has a focus on the industrial products and environmental sectors.

Prior to the secondment he was as a key member of the mergers and acquisitions team at Ernst & Young focused on advising mid-market private equity houses on new investments. These included Gresham’s acquisition of Olaer, the fluid component manufacturer serving the wind power, oil and gas and transportation sectors.

During his time at Ernst & Young he also worked in the transaction support and corporate restructuring teams working across a range of different sectors. Dan was part of the team which completed Gresham’s investment in James Grant Group, the talent management and professional services business serving entertainment, sports and music clients, which was completed in August 2009 using Gresham’s debt underwrite product. His portfolio role with the company includes assisting the management team in exploiting both organic and acquisitive growth opportunities.

He has an Honours degree in Geography from The University of Birmingham and holds the Securities Institute Diploma.
