Paul joined Gresham as an investment executive in 1990, became a director in 1995 and appointed chief operating officer in 1998. As chief operating officer, he is responsible for all operational aspects of Gresham and is a member of the investment committee.

Paul qualified as a chartered accountant at KPMG and has a degree in accountancy from Exeter University.
