About Simon Hemley

Simon is a Partner in Gresham’s investment team and is primarily focused on the financial services sector. Simon is based in London, but spends a significant proportion of his time identifying investment opportunities around the Guildford area, and the M3 corridor down to Southampton.

Simon’s experience at Gresham includes the management buy-outs of Town Centre Restaurants, an operator of primarily shopping centre restaurants, and of 7city, a training business for the financial services sector. Both businesses are in Gresham’s current portfolio and Simon remains on the Board of 7city.

Simon joined Gresham in 2006 from Ernst & Young where he worked in the mergers & acquisitions team advising on private equity transactions.

Simon is a Chartered Accountant, a graduate of Nottingham University and lives in London.
