Established more than 100 years ago, RP Martin is the oldest money broking business in the world.
Why we liked it
One of the key attractions of the investment was the management team who have a long track record of success within the money broking industry and have successfully run RP Martin for many years. In addition, the business has a ‘blue chip’ customer base including all the leading clearing and investment banks.
How are we helping?
Since Gresham backed RP Martin, it has developed a global presence and now has European operations in the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic, as well as India, South Africa, Dubai and the USA. It has more than doubled its headcount and made four acquisitions, as well as investing in a strategically important joint venture.
