Investment Overview
Olaer Group designs, assembles and services a range of products that help to improve the performance of hydraulic circuits and water systems. These solutions are used in many different applications from the energy sector – windpower, wavefarms, solar and nuclear energy – to helping produce special effects for films.
Why we liked it
The key attractions were the strength of its market position and reputation for technical and design excellence which create strong barriers to entry and higher margin opportunities.
Both management and Gresham believe that there are a number of opportunities to improve the operational performance and expand the business by taking advantage of the market growth and penetrating the Far Eastern markets.
