JT is the leading UK manufacturer and distributor of shower trays with an estimated 30% share of the UK shower tray market. It has a strong brand and reputation within the installer base (predominantly plumbers and builders) where trays are selected for their quality, design and durability.
Why we liked it
The key attraction of the deal was the business' position as UK market leader and the tangible growth opportunities from new product development.
How are we helping?
The strong incumbent management team was further strengthened through Gresham introducing a chairman with extensive experience of the industrial product sector. With Gresham’s backing, JT’s strategy is to continue to grow its market share by introducing further innovative products to the market.
