Gresham appoints new Manchester investment Partner

Gresham, the mid market private equity firm, has appointed Mark Blower as a Partner in its investment team. He will be based in Manchester. The appointment is effective as of 18th January 2010.

Mark joins from Lloyds Acquisition Finance where he worked for the past five years as Head of the North West office. He has a successful track record of backing mid-market investments in a wide range of businesses including Gresham’s investment in the Individual Restaurant Company.

Prior to Lloyds Acquisition Finance, Mark was Head of NM Rothschild & Sons Leeds team. His responsibilities at Gresham will include deal origination and investment in Yorkshire and the North East.

The announcement follows the appointment of Anthony Bull to the London office in September last year and highlights Gresham’s commitment to building on its highly experienced regional investment team.
