Investment Overview
Dimensions designs, sources and distributes over one million items of corporate clothing wear every month to a blue chip customer base. It focuses on a range of private sectors including Retail, Finance, Healthcare and public sector bodies.
Why we liked it
Gresham had previously invested in Dimensions in 2000. It sold the business to Johnson Service Group plc “JSG” in 2004, generating a 2.6x money multiple. We stayed in touch with the extremely strong management team and welcomed the opportunity to back them again when JSG became keen to sell due to their restructuring plans.
How are we helping?
The deal will allow Dimensions to invest further in its infrastructure to deliver the anticipated business growth. We expect the company to make a number of acquisitions and so have introduced a new chairman and chief financial officer who both have corporate finance expertise and can support Dimensions as it grows.
