Why we liked it
A key attraction of the deal was the impressive management team with the ability to transform the operational focus and culture of the business. The strong market position in each market in which Alstec operates with potential to grow the service range outside the strategic constraints imposed by the vendor (Alstom).
Result
The business was sold to trade in 2006 for £44.9m.
